According to Bloomberg, Apple is planning to launch the Apple Watch Ultra with the iPhone 15 this fall as part of their upcoming product roadmap. They have also started work on the second version of the Vision Pro, as well as a less costly version. It is anticipated that M3-powered laptops and OLED-screen iPads will be distributed by the following year.
As developers, financial analysts, and certain members of the media are currently in possession of Apple's new Vision Pro headset, the company is reportedly planning releases of updated versions of their current offerings. The iPhone 15 is expected to launch in the traditional fall timeframe, however, refreshed editions of the iMac, iPad Pro and Air, Apple Watch Ultra, and MacBook Pro will come out in the course of the upcoming year. Moreover, the report states that the next-gen Apple Watch 9 will be available in two sizes. Ahead of introducing the Vision Pro, Apple has already launched the 15-inch MacBook Air at WWDC, and a further refresh is said to be in the works.
One of the main topics for customers and investors is the reaction to the Vision Pro. Apple arrived late to the virtual reality industry, but reviews of the headset have been mostly constructive, though certain people cited instances of motion sickness and a feeling of heaviness. Further, specifications indicate that the Vision Pro is more advanced than most rival products, containing two high-definition screens and custom processors to lessen latency. Furthermore, Apple is reportedly broadening access to the headset to include "select" developers commencing next month, with the intention of expanding the VisionOS ecosystem. They have also allegedly initiated work on two more product lines – a second-generation high-end model that will succeed the original Vision Pro and a lower-end version.
