Google Search offers a Beta version to remove your phone, email and home address from the search page. It's easy to submit a request for removal, and Google will then review it to determine if it meets their criteria.
By using the "Remove this result" feature, you can eliminate your phone number, email address, and home address from your Google search results when you enter your name. It is important to note that the feature does not delete your information from the internet or particular websites, as it still exists. However, it does make it more difficult for individuals to locate this information when they search for it. Currently, the "Remove this result" function is in its Beta version. If you would like to take down your contact information, there are couple ways to file a request.
Search your name in Google, then click on the 3 vertical dots next to the website with the information you wish to remove. Select "Remove result" in the top right. There are five options - choose "It shows my personal contact info" for phone number, email and home address. For other requests, press the arrow beside the other bars and then press "Continue" three times after you've read Google's terms and logged into the account you want linked. Enter your name and the matching contact info that you want taken away - e.g. your phone number. Click "Continue" and then "Send." You can return to the Google Search page by pressing "I'm done." To review your requests, click the "Go to removal requests" bar. Google will notify you via the specified email address of the removal decision, which may take up to several days to process. You can check your Google activity to view the status of the request.
You can keep track of your request by navigating to the "Data & privacy" page in your Google Account. Scroll down and click "My Activity." Then press the three dots in the search bar and select "Other activity." Press the "Manage results about you" and you can view the progress. Additionally, you can utilize this link to submit a request for a greater variety of reasons. If you would like to have personal information removed, opt for the "Content contains your personal information" option. This may be used for types of personal information, such as Social Security and bank account numbers. That's all there is to it!
